Dear Delegates of the Security Council,
My name is Joanne Catherine Manimala in class 13G, and I am honoured to be the Chair for the Security Council for the DISMUN 2.7. My experience in the DISMUN (Diyafah International School Model United Nations) started in 2021, and I am delighted to now return as a Chair and watch each one of you develop skills in leadership, communication, and problem solving.
The MUN is a great way to meet new students and collaborate with them to create inspiring solutions to global problems. The Security Council is known for its riveting crises and thought-provoking debates. I hope for this to be an opportunity for all my delegates to showcase their abilities and test their limits when tackling real-world problems.
As your chair, it is my responsibility to ensure the committee sessions run smoothly, and every student feels involved and heard. I will make sure that we follow the schedule, provide a just environment, and most importantly, I will look after all my delegates with utmost respect because I want your experience to be cherished.
I enthusiastically await the DISMUN, and the opportunity to see your passion and perseverance for this exciting event.
Yours Sincerely,
Chair of Security Council
Joanne Catherine Manimala
