Dear Judges of the International Court of Justice,
It is a great delight and honour to be the Chief Justice of the ICJ (the International Court of Justice) for the 2026-27 DISMUN season. I am Mukundh Jaikrishnan of Y13 and I have been participating in the DISMUN for the past 3 years now. In those years I have improved in my public speaking and critical thinking skills and have grown in confidence and reasoning.
Within the International Court of Justice, we will address real legal cases, emphasizing rigorous argumentation, judicial cooperation, and constructive problem-solving. In my role as Chief Justice, I will oversee the orderly conduct of proceedings, guaranteeing that all delegates have equal speaking rights, receive recognition for their work, and participate in a supportive environment that captures the true essence of serving on a United Nations body.
I am very excited to be a Chief of Justice and hope to create a memorable experience for all my fellow judges this DISMUN, I fully believe your ambition, passion, and commitment to create a more peaceful and safer world will make this DISMUN, one to remember.
