My name is Shivar Maharaj, and I am an A level student at Diyafah International School, as well as the head boy for this academic year. I am sincerely honoured to be your Secretary General for the first-ever inter-school DISMUN '24 as well as the Chair of the GA. With sustainability being a more important topic than ever, this council will allow you to express your passion for our future as citizens of the Earth. Looking forward to seeing you all and wish you all the best!

An important and rewarding aspect of being a co-chair is the opportunity to guide and mentor a diverse group of passionate and talented delegates. Witnessing their enthusiasm for diplomacy and global issues is inspiring. Facilitating their debates and discussions allows me to see the world through different perspectives and appreciate the richness of ideas that emerge when diverse minds come together. I can't wait to see what all of you have in store for us.
