About ADMUN

Al Diyafah Model United Nations (ADMUN) stands as a testament to the power of youth engagement and international diplomacy. Emerging from the enthusiasm of Al Diyafah High School students who sought to share their Model UN experiences, and as a personal enrichment initiative, ADMUN has evolved into a thriving, seven-year-old conference. Initially exclusive to Diyafah students, ADMUN expanded its reach since then to welcome schools across the UAE. Since its inception, ADMUN has served as a platform for students to delve into global issues, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a sense of global citizenship. By simulating the United Nations, ADMUN empowers young minds to become agents of change, fostering a spirit of cooperation and understanding.

Previous editions of ADMUN have explored a wide range of pressing global issues, from climate change and sustainable development to human rights and international security. Through rigorous research, passionate debate, and creative problem-solving, delegates have gained invaluable insights into the complexities of the international system. These experiences have not only enhanced their academic knowledge but also inspired them to take action in their communities.

ADMUN 2.5, themed "The Cooperative Way: A Sustainable Path Forward," takes this legacy to new heights. By focusing on cooperation, sustainability, and innovation, this conference aims to address the pressing challenges facing our planet. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore innovative solutions to issues such as climate change, poverty, and inequality. Through collaborative efforts and diplomatic negotiations, they will strive to create a more just and equitable world.
