General Assembly

Dear Delegates of the General Assembly,

With great honour and humility, I, Palak Mathur from 13 G, welcome you all to this conference as the Chair of the General Assembly. Serving in this role is a privilege I hold very close to my heart, as it marks a new chapter in my five years of experience within the world of Model United Nations.

From my very first committee to this moment as Chair, I have witnessed how MUN creates a unique space where ideas converge, where challenges are confronted, and where delegates rise to the occasion with determination and creativity.

To serve as your Chair today is not just an achievement for me personally, but also a responsibility to ensure that every delegate here feels encouraged to contribute, confident in their abilities, and respected in their efforts. My goal is to foster an environment where debate is not only rigorous but also constructive, and where each of you can truly experience the essence of what it means to be part of the United Nations community.

I am deeply grateful to be entrusted with this position, and I look forward to guiding this assembly as we engage in meaningful discussions and craft innovative solutions. I have no doubt that the passion, dedication, and diplomacy each of you brings will make this session a memorable one.
