The UNEP, headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, is the global authority responsible for providing leadership and encouraging global partnership towards climate action. Its mission is to promote caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and people to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations. This is the perfect committee to learn about and develop solutions for the big sustainability and climate challenges facing us today.
Head Chair
Hawra Safri is the Head chair for the United Nations Environment Program at ADMUN 2.4! Hawra is in her senior year and heading to pursue architecture later in the future. She fell in love with MUNS just about a year ago and she is very proud of her journey so far! She is super excited to chair this committee and make it memorable for all her attending delegates.
Co Chair
Amira Qasim is the co-chair for the United Nations Environment Program at ADMUN 2.4! She currently is a junior in high school and has been participating MUNs since 2022. She loves watching movies and listening to music and not to forget that she is an enthusiastic supporter of Ferrari in F1. She cannot wait to meet all of you and will do her best to make the committee as fun and engaging as possible!

Aditya Kalra, at just 13 years old, is your Co-Chair for the United Nations Environment Program at ADMUN 2.4. He is on a remarkable MUN journey despite his young age, with 13 conferences as a delegate and 4 as a chair. But Aditya isn’t just about diplomacy; he has got a passion for dancing, and a love for reading any and all types of fiction. Beyond that, he is the life of the party and the one who will always make you smile. However, his true calling is helping young debaters and MUN enthusiasts find their way in the world of diplomacy. He cannot wait to meet everyone and transform UNEP into another exciting committee at ADMUN 2.4.
