Tharuka Karawita  Chair - UNSC

Tharuka Karawita is an AS level student studying in ADHS and is serving the position of head chair for UNSC in ADMUN. UNSC, in his eyes, has always been a committee that converge some of the most skilled delegates as they tackle a mandate with powers beyond any other IGO committee in the world(in simple terms, one of the nerdiest places to be in ADMUN). Beyond just  Model UN and the typical extracurriculars like debate and public speaking, he loves to chill and listen to music on the daily while arguing on important topics such as the correct way of eating cereal or whether pineapple is actually a good topic on pizza.

For him, ADMUN is a conference with a lot of importance and memory attached to it, whether it's when he started out as a delegate or became a secretariat member. Hence, he hopes to do his best to aid in making this conference a memorable one.

Mohammed Mushaf  Co-chair - UNSC

Mohammad Mushaf studies in grade 11 at Delhi Private School, Sharjah. Alongside motorsports and cars, he has a deep passion for MUNs, which stemmed from an early interest in foreign relations. He is serving as your co-chair of the Security council. He believes that MUNs open up delegates to whole new worlds of situations and topics and given the complex and fragile nature of foreign affairs, it requires a lot of brainstorming, critical thinking, and quick and effective decision- making skills.

He sees MUNs as a basis to nurture essential and crucial skills in people, while providing a deeper insight into how the world really functions on a larger scale. Learning from his experiences, he has just one thing left to say: what separates a good delegate from a great one is their ability to firmly believe in their stance and pursue each and every step boldly. He looks forward to seeing everyone at the conference!
