Vansh Kumar Hiranandani

Head Chair

Hey! My name is Vansh Hiranandani and I am thrilled to serve as the Head Chair of the United Nations Humans Rights Council at ADMUN’22. I study at Our Own High School and have a keen interest in entrepreneurship, diplomacy, and technology. I believe Model United Nations are a great way to augment one’s personality and interpersonal skills and provides a prodigious platform for one to voice their opinions, innovative thinking, and diplomacy.

My passion for MUNs emerged from the desire to discuss and debate current global issues and has hence played an important role in my life and has helped me enhance my skills as an orator, diplomat, and most importantly a leader. For the first-timers make sure not to be intimidated and be well versed with the mandate and agenda at hand. It could take a while to start winning awards but do not lose confidence! I, along with my chair, wish to make ADMUN’22 the best you've been to yet! All the best and hope to see you soon.

Khadija Zakriya Jamadar

Co-Chair

Hello Everyone!! I’m Khadija and I will be serving as the Chair of UNHRC! A little about me would be that I am a 16-year-old girl, a Mumbaikar, from Maharashtra, with roots in Cape Town, South Africa who looks forward to using her voice to make an impact in the society, shares a strong passion for event management and wishes to empower others through her empathy. Well now I am able to say I’m all confident but that wasn’t always the case!

In fact few years down the line I was a very shy and timid girl, the fear of never being able to overcome this scared me but that’s when Mr.MUN kicked the door and said “want to develop public speaking, problem solving skills, leadership abilities and most importantly grow as a Person?!” And my reply was instantly a big YES!! Let me tell you MUNs are all about how WE as young students can contribute and make a difference. It is about cooperation rather than competition and about compromise than intransigence. Youth are catalysts for change and so I believe. I also think that each and every idea and will to help MATTERS, hence I would request all the delegates that come in the committee to feel comfortable with me to share their worries and I would be extremely glad and happy to help out :)’
