Page 1 of 3 SCHOOL UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE POLICY Al Diyafah High School's uniform policy ensures students maintain a neat and professional appearance, both in school and in the wider community. We expect all students to take pride in their uniform and represent the school positively. Parental support is crucial in maintaining these standards, which reinforce our school's values and create a respectful learning environment. The uniform acts as a clear identifier of our students and promotes a sense of unity. School Uniform All students are required to wear the proper school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed. Identity card should be worn at all times. Students are expected to keep their appearance neat and tidy. Uniform for boys: 1. Prescribed school trousers & shirt 2. School Tie (Year 7 onwards) 3. ID- cards with blue /red lanyard 4. Black school shoes 5. PE uniform with running sports shoes, predominantly white Uniform for girls: 1. Prescribed school shirt, knee-covered skirt/trouser (Primary), Ankle-length skirts/trouser (Secondary) 2. School Tie 3. ID- cards with blue /red lanyard 4. Black school shoes 5. PE uniform with running sports shoes, predominantly white Students are required to wear the complete and correct uniform on campus, during travel to and from school, for after-school activities, and on all school trips unless alternative instructions are provided by a staff member. This standard also applies to PTCI and all formal ADHS events. Noncompliance with hairstyle guidelines Untied hair, Informal hairstyles, use of gel/wax, Hair color - bright, streaked, or unnatural colour, Big and flashy clips, Hair bands and hair crunchies not plain white/black. Any other non-compliance in uniform and appearance will be addressed in line with the above consequences. Students who do not meet the school's uniform requirements will be asked to correct the issue immediately. If this is not possible, they will be sent home until they can return in the proper uniform.
